We woke up this morning to about 3-4 in. of snow. This would usually bring on squeals of joy from my Arizona boys - the bad news is AJ was throwing up all morning and Connor is still getting over his flu from last week. It seems like we have been sick for a month around here! Well, sick or not the snow was beautiful! No one loved the snow more than Maggy - she got to catch snowballs with Dad, run in the yard with Connor and even got to play a little basketball pinata with Connor. Good to know that when the net is frozen the ball will not come out. Nothing a hockey stick and a strong willed kid can't fix!

With snow like that you might as well live in Colorado!!!

WOW!!! My kids would love that at least once a year here in Texas. Since we will be in CO. in two weeks I hope it is like that up there!
ReplyDeleteJust curious did you guys get flu shots. I hear you on the sick thing - Mary has been running a fever since Saturday and I was home again with her yesterday
ReplyDeleteNo flu shots and now of course I wish we had. I am one of those that thinks the flu shot gives you the flu. I feel dumb for thinking that way now. M
ReplyDeleteWell we all got them and still manage to get sick of course I tell myself just think how sick we would be without them!
ReplyDeleteHow Fun! Snow!! It looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteAnd to think - my boys went **swimming** on Sunday! Crazy! 90 degrees here in AZ. :(
How much complaining can you possibly do? I just went outside to check the thermonitor, and it is 76 degrees. I don't know what you are complaining about. I think the weather is great.
ReplyDeleteMaggie seems to be enjoying the snow. That's my girl. Was Chris actually shoveling snow or just striking a pose?
Flu shots do give you the flu. Your problem isn't the lack of shots, it's the kids. Kids carry every bacteria, germ, virus, and disease known to man. Some kids can even cause mental illness in an adult. If you never go near a kid, a hospital, or a doctors office you will never get sick. I can avoid the hospital, and the doctor, but I would rather be sick than not be near the rugrats.
So Lisa thinks she is coming to Colorado for snow, and the Mexicans think they are coming to Colorado for jobs. Good look to all of you. This is another prime argument for border control between Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.
I've just reread the blog, and I am confident that I have insulted eveyone so my work is finished here.
