When Papa came to NC in November he and Bobo gave us a fire pit as a housewarming gift. We had a lot of fun with it while they were here. We fired it up again tonight and had dinner outside with Mags. It was a great night, not too windy or cold and nice to just spend time in the fresh air.
After dinner and once the sky got darker Chris pulled out the telescope. The moon was AMAZING you could see all of the craters. AJ thinks he saw alien lifeform (that is a unconfirmed sighting), for a minute there it felt like a re-enactment of the Great Outdoors. People do say Chris looks like Dan Aykroyd.
What a great day - time with the boys and lots of time outside. Spring is coming!!!

ReplyDeleteDid you have to air out your clothes from the smoke? The fire pit was a good time even though Chris cheated with the s'mores.we had spring for a few days last week, ( 70+ temp.) but now we're getting back to real Colorado spring with snow forcasted tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see the pit fired up. I don't see any marshmellows in the pictures. Did Chris have all of them in the Microwave? What sort of life form did AJ see? Was it a Heavy Metal Band or Jessica Simpson? I'm glad that you're enjoying the great outdoors. It's so pretty there that I hated to be inside.
