Decisions...decisions.... I have been waiting a long time for a rug in the front hall. My purchase orders always get held up in finance if you know what I mean! The very nice women that is helping us with the house brought over 2 samples yesterday and we are stuck. In the spirit of American Idol I wanted to put the vote out to you! Especially this season since I can veto your choice if I think you get it wrong. Seriously though Liz inspired me with her Gymboree polls (which dress for Christmas, Easter, Birthday etc.) and decided this was the way to make this choice. You all know if I leave it to Chris we will end up with these samples pushed together as the rug with him saying, "this works just fine." Since that is really not an option, here we go....(drumroll please......)

Or black and red rug - this sample is more red but the one Suzanne Sugarbaker is recommending is black with the red on the border. So weigh in, what say you America??
In other news... the NCAA Tourney continues, March Madness Baby! AJ and I are both out (we did the right thing by picking a NC school out of loyalty, just picked wrong one - hint, our choice rhymed with Puke!)
Connor and Chris are battling for the win. The big question of course, how is Bobo doing on her bracket???

ReplyDeleteI like the brown also. Either would work. as far as my brackets go, I'm still in it. I picked North Carolina to win it all. I still have 3 of my final 4, my 4th was that same team that rhymes with puke. My goal is to beat the guys at work that put in 3 or 4 brackets and still lose. I turn in one bracket and hope for the best.

As much as I would like to differ from everyone else, I agree with the brown rug. It is more understated and goes with the existing color palette that you have used in your home. How gay did that sound. Watch for my new home improvement show on HGTV. It is titled Repair without Underwear.
ReplyDeleteThe important thing to remember about your rug is the size. It has to be the appropriate size for Chris to hang it over the windows in the front doors so that nobody can see him sitting in his chair in the living room.
