I am so excited - I have a new toy! After more than a year of looking at the Keurig and wondering if I should get it I finally just went for it. I love a single cup of coffee for a couple of reasons.
1. I love the first cup of coffee from the pot, nice and FRESH!
2. If I make a pot of coffee, I will drink the whole thing, zero will-power here.
I even found a website where I can buy the flavored coffees in a build your own variety pack. I love the internet!
I am living proof that the people will stimulate this economy! I did not need a tax break to buy it, I did not need the senate to hold a hearing on whether the executives at Keuring were honest enough for me to buy it from, I did not need Cramer or Jon Stewart or even Simon Cowell to tell me to buy it. One 20% coupon from Bed Bath and Beyond was all the influence I needed. Let's try capitalism again and see if that works!
I am with you up to the flavored coffee. Don't put chocolate, blueberries, or whipped cream in my coffee, and do not offer me pumpkin flavored beer. Sounds like I could be a NC Redneck.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the economy goes, I think everyone in the US should run their Credit Cards to the max and then inform the Congress that we can't meet our debt because of poor choices and the large bonuses we were forced to pay out. They could then bail us out by paying off our cards in order to save the banks. I bet at that point the banks would raise the credit limits on all our cards, and we could start all over again.
I must say this one passed under the radar. I don't think I would have the patience to let it brew one cup at a time. I quit going to Starbucks because I can't stand to wait!
ReplyDeleteDad although your thinking is innovation and creative (as always) I am pretty sure that theory will not work for you the whole bailout road only goes one way we get to pay for other peoples mistakes and if we make one well too bad!
Nana got one of these for Christmas and Roger keeps hoping his pod coffee will hurry up and break so he can get one of these also! I will stick with my Dr. Pepper.
ReplyDeleteWow, you have hit the big time now. But does it make Chai tea?
ReplyDeleteT
It not only makes Chai Tea, but virtually every tea known to man. It also makes hot chocolate, white chocolate, over 50 blends of coffee including french vanilla, and various soups.
ReplyDeleteI want one for my office, but I want the one that is plumbed to the water supply, and self ejects the packets. It only costs $600.00. I'm sure one of my daughters will want to get me one for my birthday. Its a Keurig model B3000.It will be like having a seven-eleven in the basement.
Dad really needs a coffee pot that makes all those varieties of coffees, flavored, teas, soups ect. when he admiitedly really likes regular 7-11 coffee. In Aurora the 7-11 also comes with a few gang-bangers, just what we need for Dad's office.
ReplyDelete$600 are you kidding - go to 7-11
ReplyDeleteI love my coffee pot that Roger helped Papa Eddie pick our for me at Christmas. They even got me all kinds of good coffee (flavored and plain), tea, hot choc, all kinds of good stuff. It is good to have a fresh cup of coffee and it pours into your cup as it makes, no additional waiting time. It is great Liz.
