Things I Could Have Someone Else Do

So....Liz got me thinking about having someone else do my blog since I am too busy. She has a point, it has been so long since I blogged that I forgot my password! Anyway, it got me thinking about all the things in life that would become simple with just a little extra help.

10. Brushing and Bathing Maggy - she went to the groomer and got a bath last week and it changed my life. Sounds crazy but a dog that smells good is the best! Even though they used the blow dryer and she looks like Manfred on Ice Age (I'm not fat, I'm just poofy) she smells great!

9. Watching The Bachelor....now there is 2 hours I will never get back in life. I always swear I will not watch and something pulls me in! Someone please just jump to the end and report the engagement is off so I can get on with my life.

8. Dinner & cleaning up after dinner....enough said.

7. Exercise, can someone go find the booty I left in High School and bring it back to me?

6. My obsessive compulsive tendencies, can someone else worry about if the floors need to be cleaned and if I phrased my last blog correctly, if the towels in the linen closet are folded "right" how about using a q-tip to clean out the washing machine - can anyone else carry this burden!

5. Reminding AJ ten thousand times to brush his teeth, wash his face, finish his homework, bring me the things in the backpack to sign..... on and on and on...... what happens at 13 to turn your brain to mush??

4. Dusting...I know you can technically pay someone to do this, see #6 - I would have to clean first so I would not be embarrassed to have someone clean - someone stop the madness!

3. Keeping up with family and friends, if only my intentions could help me keep up on this. I guess this plays into Liz's request!

2. AJs project about an important chemist....this will become my project at 9 pm on Thursday Feb 5th if history holds true...due Feb 6th!

1. Grocery Shopping - add putting away groceries to the wish and you have changed my life!

Ok - these are silly but I am telling you I do not know how people get it all done. I am just trying to not miss the great stuff while this stuff gets in the way. I cannot believe how big the boys are getting and how fast it is passing by! BTW - shout out to Connor for basketball this week - INTENSITY

  1. All I can say is the Joseph curse is a bitch. It could be worse. Imagine poor Lauren, blessed with the curse as she is, living with the rest of the Gilbreaths.
You should not complain about 13 year olds. If you remember at that age your Mom had fantasies about dumping you in the septic tank.
It's nice to see your blog. I was beginning to think that checking it every day for new posts was a waste of time. Talk about compulsive. You have made my day.
Is there a prize for being the first to respond?

  2. Wow to true - I got sucked into a couple of seasons of the Bachelor what a waste. I have many more years of "reminding" than you do it has taken years off my life. Now Dad does have a point about poor Lauren unfortnetely Mary has the same curse and that may be the root of her bad temper everytime she looks around she can't believe people live like this. My advise to you on the chemist project don't take it on sister or everything will become yours let him take the F and go on down the road. Trust me on this one!

  3. That sounds like a job I would like. (Minus the folded towels and q-tips) Move back here and for a small price it could be yours. Heck, I 'll even do AJ's project for him. Come to think of it, Lauren could handle the towels and q-tips! You would be golden!! By the way Papa, I am reading the blog, so you can't be mean to me. ( I guess you did owe me one.) T

  4. Your right about how when you turn 13 your brain turns to mush. All my brain can do right now is store important stuff about music and play the guitar. My brain cant handle 2.0215487545789+98.25487. Its to complicated. But i do know how to play Master Of Puppets on the guitar. My mom always tells me to do better but the fact is, my brain is to slow right now to process what she tells me. Sorry mom, its not my fault
