I Kissed A Girl and I Liked It.....

Well - poor AJ has mono. He says that it is not "just" the kissing disease. I feel bad for him, he has been miserable all week and I guess there is nothing they can do for that. So - I am doing what I can, taking pictures and blogging about his misfortune. I even changed the song for him!

Chris told AJ awhile ago that when he was in 8th grade he had "better things to do than kiss girls", AJ's oh so practical reply was "name one thing that is better than kissing a girl!" Chris did not have a reply but I bet Mono would not have made the list.

  1. Oh AJ this gives us all plenty of ammunition. I will make sure Lucas knows this is what happens when you kiss girls. I've told him it gives you cold sores. Actually, it's not Lucas I'm worried about it's Ellie. She has two twin boys in her class that she is especially fond of. YIKES!!

  2. Sorry you feel bad but you are way cooler than your Dad - "better things to do than kiss girls" is what guys say that haven't kissed a girl what exactly was he doing listening to KISS on an 8-track?

  3. AJ is right. It has been proven that studying for long periods of time with your face in a book can cause Mono. You never can tell where that book has been.
It has also been proven that food poisoning is caused by eating food. You can't stop eating or kissing. I applaud AJ's bravery in facing danger head on.
As far as Theresa's advice to Lucas does she really think I can't convince the boy that she is all wet. I guess I better have another talk with him while we watch "Roadhouse". By the way have Chris and AJ bonded while watching Roadhouse yet? Maybe it's time.
One last thing for Maria. I Kissed a Girl by Katy Perry is about a girl kissing a girl. I don't think that applies to AJ. How about Robert Palmer's "A Bad Case of Loving You"?

  5. A. J. doesn't look real thrilled about the picture taking part of this disease. Staying home playing guitar is the up-side. Get better soon.
