Promotions

As Alice Cooper would say... School's out for summer!  Connor had his promotion ceremony on Thursday, he is going on to Middle School next year.  AJ even got up early to go to the promotion, pretty big sacrifice for his first day of sleeping in, oh well - plenty of time to do that!  We are really proud of these guys. 

Game On

Another weekend of baseball.  Think AJ wanted to hit that ball?  Yea, he roped it!   Connor's team struggled on Saturday but ended with a great season. 

Heat play again in a couple of hours, think positive thoughts!

Happy Birthday AJ

AJ is 15 today!   We are so proud of AJ, he is so funny and we are blessed to have him as our son.  

I'm Not Fat, I'm Just Poofy

So, someone called Maggy fat...not going to name names but this person also used to sing a song titled "Mama is the Cow of the House....." just sayin'.   In any event, Maggy is at her perfect fighting weight - the last picture was pre-spa day where her winter coat was pulled out.

Braces and No Braces

What happened to my little boy?!  AJ lost the braces on Thursday and is lovin it!

Spring Break!

We went looking for spring in FL this year and found it!  The good news is we brought it back to NC so pictures of flowers to follow but had to share this picture, too funny!

Oh Snow!!

We are getting to the point where I will be ok to not see snow again!  More snow days....off again on Friday but this time freezing rain and ice. The storm that would not end! The good news is during the first part of the storm AJ had enough snow to build his "snowmonster"

And for those of you that were feeling sorry for Chris and all of his shoveling.....it's not as bad as it looks.  Chris made a friend...with a plow!

Perspective....

 I looked outside and wondered why AJ was not working as hard as Dad on shoveling the snow...

And then I saw what the other one was doing.....

Ballin.....

Connor's basketball team had their first game tonight, somebody was on fire!  Connor had a great game swooshing his free throws (nothin but net baby!) and shooting the winning basket.  Final score 16-15

Please can I be an inside dog??

We have super cold temps here this week, we were at 19 degrees this morning, with the wind chill we got to 1 degree..brrr!  I thought I would never live anywhere again where I had to reference a wind chill, jokes on me I guess.   Miss Maggy has been coming in for most of the day for two reasons.  Reason #1, it is cold, reason #2 she just got a bath at her spa.  She smells awesome and is nice and soft.  They also got most of her hair off which helps.  What a cutie!

Snow!

            

























The snow was awesome and at first, some worked and some played.  Once the "player" realized that you got paid for work he grabbed a shovel!  I love that these kids are on commission, you only get paid if you work around here!

Personality Traits From Papa

I am a little frustrated with the blog, I started this post on Christmas morning but the I could not get the pictures to send (perseverance thanks to Papa) and once I got them to send I could not get the text to line up or the pictures to space properly (OCD thanks to Papa) so I will have to just do my best since Papa is stalking the blog waiting for pictures. I am on thin ice already (no pun intended) because I have still not posted the snow pictures from before Christmas. So much pressure!

Christmas was awesome, the boys had a great time. Connor is now ready for the Super Bowl thanks to all of the Colts gear he got (please, no talking about the game against the Jets - he is not really over that) and Aunt Theresa is right, I do think AJ is special! Bobo even introduced some fun by swapping out the presents for the boys, who said gift cards were boring? Not with the Bobo in charge!

No one was happier with their gift than Mags! She could not stop playing with her new Frisbee!

The Stars Are Aligned

Well... at least this is what AJ said.  He is watching the weather like a hawk, we are expecting snow and we could get up to 12 inches in this storm.  Chris had to go buy a shovel last night.  Stay tuned for a white weekend in North Carolina.

Ginger in NC

We had a special visitor this week, Ginger came to see us from Colorado. We wanted to let Ellie know that Ginger is on her way home. She will need lots of rest because she was REALLY busy! Thanks for sharing her with us.
